Florida State University Online Master's Degree Program in Science Education
The science education department at Florida State University is offering a new online (distance learning) masterís degree program in science education. This program is designed for teachers in the early stages of their careers who are already certified and teaching. The program will be aligned with the National Board Certification. Of particular interest to teachers outside of Florida is the out-of-state tuition waiver that is available, providing teachers in any state the same tuition and fees as Florida teachers. eLearning is designed for both teachers and principals and models successful classroom teaching strategies and supports mastery of academic content, combined with classroom application, follow-up activities, and an online assessment.
